Carolina Coach Crafters was recently asked to exhibit at the 2015 Hilton Head Island Concours d'Elegance to celebrate 40 years of the 911 Turbo aka 930. We decided to bring down 5 cars total, all consecutive year models running from 1975 through 1979. The Hilton Head Motoring Festival is really picking up momentum and has become one of our favorite events to attend. The show field was full of very strong cars on Sunday and the event staff was excellent to work with! Mark your calendars for next year!
All Metal Shaping work complete! The car is ready for primer! Almost two years in and 90% of the metal on this car has been replaced. All replacement panels were formed in house, by hand, here at Carolina Coach Crafters. The finishing work on this car is close to perfection, the car is literally ready for primer.
At Carolina Coach Crafters we love a creative challenge! In this case we were commissioned to build a set of custom fenders for a customers trike project themed after the famous 'Munster Mobile'. After countless hours of research, attention to detail, and hand-formed metal work - the end result speaks for itself! Our customer was absolutely blown away and I must say they turned out even better than we expected!
